The USATF Hershey National Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships came to a close on its seventh day. The athletes didn’t let the 105 degree heat in Hornet Stadium stop them from winning national titles and breaking national records.

The first wave of running finals took place on day six of the USATF Hershey National Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships. The day was full of national title, photo finishes and new national records.
DES MOINES, Iowa -- Team USATF athletes displayed world-leading and record-breaking performances Saturday at Drake Stadium, on Day 3 of the 2019 Toyota USATF Outdoor Championships.
TORONTO, Canada – The NCCWMA [North America, Central America, Caribbean] Outdoor Track and Field Championships took place this past weekend and included Non-Stadia events, a 10 Km Road Race, 10 Km Race Walk, and Cross Country. USATF Athletes collected 21 Gold, 16 Silver, and 8 Bronze Medals in the contests. They swept the medals in the F45 and the M60 Cross Country.
Day five of the USATF Hershey National Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships crowned 16 additional Junior Olympic champions on and off the track.
"We were saddened to hear of UCS CEO Jeff Schwartz's death,” said USATF CEO @Max_Siegel. “USATF and UCS share a common commitment to creating a lasting legacy in the sport. We will keep his family in our thoughts throughout our championships and beyond.”

Four new national records were set on day four of the USATF Hershey National Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships. The athletes competed in over 100 degree weather to qualify for the next round.
